My laptop won't recognize my Flip camera in a USB port?
New camera; can't download the software for playing the videos on my laptop or posting online or emailing videos. I keep getting a bubble message saying the computer doesn't recognize the device plugged into the USB port. I've checked the power level of the ports, and they're fast enough to handle the camera. Might have to turn off the firewall or the virus scan temporarily so I can load the software that's in the camera into the computer. Anyone else encounter this, or know how to fix it? thanks.
