Why isn't my videos importing into my computer?
I have a Sony HDR-XR100 and im trying to import my videos into my dell. I connected the computer and camera and nothing is coming up for me to upload my vidz.
What do I do?
Short version:
You have not supplied enough information for anyone to actually help you.
Long version:
There's nothing that says "when you plug your camcorder into your computer, something will automatically happen."
You did not tell us which Dell.
The Sony HDR-XR100 is a consumer-grade camcorder that captures very compressed AVCHD video into MTS files.
You did not tell us which application (video or still images editing) you are expecting to work with.
You didn't tell us what Operating System you are using... Windows or some Unix variant... Assuming Windows, what version? Generally, for video editing, you would use the bundled MovieMaker - but since it cannot deal with MTS files, you need to use something else or convert the video first...
